The Ambassadors of Hope Charter has been created so that organisations can commit to embedding positive mental health actions via training, activities, resources and direct communication and support with the Chasing the Stigma team.
The counsellors working with Neurodivergence group have joined forces with Chasing the Stigma by having our counsellors be a part of their great Hub of Hope directory, helping people get the support they need throughout the UK.
COUNSELLORS WORKING WITH NEURODIVERGENCE FACEBOOK GROUP
We created this group with the aim to bring counsellors to get together to discuss neurodiversity in a safe space. Our goal is not only for therapists to know how to work with the neurodiverse population, but also to raise awareness of what neurodiversity and autism actually entails.
Find out more about this great group I admin with a wonderful colleague via the blog post we wrote together, which will give you a clearer idea of who we are and why we’ve created this group.
Great interview with the wonderful Catherine B. Roy.

I’ve created this 4 part webinar for the Link Centre, commissioned during the beginning stages of the Covid-19 Pandemic, when all of our work went online, and therefore colleagues already experienced in working face to face had to turn to online ways of service.

Here is some great raw feedback received from the community on what was liked most:
- Great presentation on how to get started with blogging. It was short and to the point on the keys on how to get started.
- The information on her process for blogging and writing her book.
- like speaker and practical tips
- Good self-reflection points in presentation. “I don’t know” statement sometimes decreases the effectiveness of saying you’re an expert.
- The speaker had very simple steps to get started, and was very encouraging
- Karin was great at the tips and recommendations.
- Love the passion and the speaker
- learned from speaker experience. great mindset on blogging/ sharing experience and you can help.
- I loved that the discussion was very on-topic and not overly abstract.
- Like the topic, very attractive
- I liked how interactive the speaker was!
The curiosity of the community showed true interest on the topic and the content that went through successfully to all of us. We had 142 participants from the community who attended live. Here is some great raw feedback received from the community on what was liked most:
Great session! Karin is brilliant. She provided a lot of information in a short time.
Awesome! Everything! Good pointers, great material, and examples.
I learned more aspects of understanding autism and how to better embrace it for improved outcomes.
This call was fantastic! I haven’t given much thought at all about ADHD or autism in the employees I manage or how I deal with these potential management scenarios. Thank you for this session!
I loved how Karin gave her presentation and then went back into the chat and started having a discussion with the comments from there
We’ve been on an amazing journey with John and Sandra Wilson from Onlinevents!
It all started with one-hour conversations aimed at counsellors and psychotherapists (and anyone that wants to watch, really!), and now I’m part of their workshop presenters, which is a great honour for me.
I am currently presenting workshops on a variety of topics which include self-care, supervision, blogging, using canva for marketing, neurodivergence, which you can book via my workshops page, or watch on demand via the links provided there as well.
Here are some clips from the 2018 Self-Care Conference – for some of my other talks you can click here and watch them for a small fee.
Podcast Episode 4 “Enjoy Everything You Do” – Keith Engelhardt chats with Karin Brauner, entrepreneur and Clinical Psychologist and Counselor about the importance of “Enjoying everything that you do”” for life fulfillment and success.

I really enjoyed participating in these two summits! I got to interview some amazing people that I am still in touch with.
If you’d like to find out more, click on the images and they’ll take you to each of the summit’s webpages.
For this Summit, I was interviewed by the founder of the project, and also got to interview Rita Garnto, who wrote a wonderful book on self-care, and Amy Camie, who is a very talented harp player, but it goes way beyond that, her music is healing!
Mieke Haveman is a fellow colleague in the counselling and marketing world, and she came up with this wonderful idea. Alongside Sandra Wilson from onlinevents, this came to life via their facebook page, where the interviews were streamed.
I didn’t present a talk in this one, but I got to interview a couple of my colleagues. There’s a community of counsellors and psychotherapists that’s growing in the UK and these are some of the fantastic ladies that are out there working online.
Jenny Florence, from the A to Z of Emotional Health Free Online Library, interviewed me back in 2018 when I first published 20 Self-Care Habits.
Igniting Souls London Chapter
My journey with the Igniting Souls tribe started in May 2019 when I joined the Author’s Academy Elite. I’m quite excited to be publishing with AAE from now on, and in the process of writing my first novel with these great people, I stumbled across a great tribe and have now become a Chapter leader for the London Chapter of this great company. They are based in Ohio, USA, and am pleased to be a part of this journey with them. In 2022 I stepped down from being the Chapter leader, but am still happy to be included in the AAE family.
Back in 2011, I translated Terry Malone’s book into Spanish.
